Ah, summer! It is a time to slow down and reflect as well as enjoy my family and time outside. I am grateful to be able to say that I have had the privilege of building up the business of Born 2 Create over this past year to the point where I can leave my "day" job as a special education teacher to pursue what I really love and enjoy. This life! This messy, creative, ever evolving gig makes me so happy and I love that I can do it with my kids and around our family schedule. A HUGE thank you to all of you who have supported me and my business this past year. I feel so very lucky to be a part of your lives and love all the little ones I have met this year! Pure joy.

This past week I spent a morning at a lovely preschool here in Edmonton. The children were keen and very excited about the two sensory bins and messy play. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with both the kids and parents who dove into the sensory experience as much as their kids!

Last Sunday was my first trade show at an event called "Birth in the City". Although the rain kept the crowds away, I enjoyed all the visits from the children who wanted to play in the sensory bins at my table.

First blog post ever. Here goes... Today was the first Born 2 Create workshop at the Lucina Centre. What a privilege to share an afternoon doing something I love with great people. It is truly incredible to watch what I have dreamed of for months come alive. An amazing group of mom's getting messy and making sensory bins for their kids. This is going to be a fun journey...
